Panchang
Panchang is the ancient and traditional Indian Calendar system based on the authoritative version of Surya Siddhanta. This dates back to the 10th Century perhaps. The word Panchang is Sanskrit and it is derived from Panchangam meaning, pancha - five; anga - limb. This signifies the five limbs or aspects of the calendar. Panchang is a great necessity since the perfect day is essential for anything or everything special or new.
