In May 2009, Astrology India Private Limited and People Interactive India Pvt. Ltd., entered into an agreement to transfer the business of Astrology carried out under the brand of Astrolife.com by People Interactive to Astrology India Pvt. Ltd. for a minority equity share in the company.
Astrology India is currently funded through internal accruals and investment by Raj Rao. The company has stable income and is now seeking investment for the growth of the business to be the leader in global online astrology marketplace.

He has over 20 years of experience in senior management positions including that of 'Head - Corporate Marketing' of Maersk India Ltd., with the responsibility for implementing over USD 100 MM marketing plan; 'Vice President and Board Member' of Geovision Software Inc., a US based company specializing in development of Astrology Software; 'Managing Director' of Reality Web India Pvt. Ltd., an e-solutions company, which was later merged with another company; 'Managing Director' of Bizincubator Services Pvt. Ltd., an incubation business subsequently merged with a listed company.
Lastly, he was the 'Vice President and Business Head' of Astrolife.com, then a division of People Interactive India Pvt. Ltd. (Better known for its brand - Shaadi.com).
Dr. Sujata Rao
Blessed with a scientific bent of mind, Dr Sujata Rao is an enthusiastic follower of astrology and various divination sciences and their effects on general health and well-being.
She is a qualified ENT (Ear Nose Throat) Specialist, having completed her graduate and postgraduate studies in Mumbai University. Dr. Rao, currently is attached to a few prominent hospitals in Mumbai and runs a flourishing independent practice. She is an Office - bearer of a significant opinion making body of postgraduate consultants, "Association of Medical Consultants, Mumbai" and contributes to the society as well as to the doctor community through their various initiatives, viz; Anti Noise Pollution Drive, Blood Donation Drive, First Responders' Workshop etc. She has a keen interest in the field of Medical Astrology.
Dr. Rao is the wife of Mr. Raj Rao, the chief promoter of Astrology India Pvt. Ltd.
Christopher Verma
An avid Reiki healer & Tarot practitioner, Capt. C. S. Verma, a Master Mariner, joined and sailed with the P&O Steam Navigation Company - London between 1973 and 1987 and later joined the erstwhile agency of Maersk, Volkart Flemming.
Later, in 1990, he moved into the parent company of Maersk in India for a two-decade stint handling various functions ranging between Shipping agency, Logistics, Inter-modal transport, port & infrastructure projects, Joint Ventures, Mergers and Acquisitions, CFS management, etc. Lately, as the GROUP CEO of the Gateway Distriparks Ltd., he lead them towards becoming a major player in the "End to End" logistics chain, covering all areas of land, sea and air.
He has since moved on and has set up his own Shipping and Logistics consulting firm.
